Green Isle Penne Pasta and Vegetables with Italian Style seasoning and chicken and pan-fried halloumi

Savour the taste of the Mediterranean with this Green Isle Penne Pasta and Vegetables with Italian-style chicken and pan-fried halloumi. Combining the convenience of Green Isle’s flavourful, ready-to-cook pasta and vegetables with juicy herb-seasoned chicken and golden, crispy halloumi, this dish is both hearty and satisfying. Perfect for busy mid-week dinners or a relaxed weekend meal, it’s a stress-free way to enjoy a balanced and delicious plate.

Ingredients

1 pack Green Isle Penne Pasta and Vegetables with Italian Style Seasoning

1 chicken fillet

4–5 slices halloumi

1 tsp dried Italian herbs

1 tbsp olive oil

Method:  

  1. Pan fry the Green Isle Penne Pasta and Vegetables for 9-10 minutes with a little drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Season the chicken fillet with the dried Italian herbs. Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until fully cooked and golden. Alternatively, you can bake or pan-fry it if preferred.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the halloumi slices and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.
  4. Place the cooked pasta and vegetables in a serving bowl. Slice the cooked chicken fillet and arrange it over the pasta. Top with the crispy halloumi slices.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs or a drizzle of olive oil if desired. This quick and flavourful dish is ready to be enjoyed!
