Corn on the Cob – BBQ Corn Ribs

Say hello to your new favourite BBQ side—sweet, smoky, sticky corn ribs made with Green Isle Mini Corn on the Cob. Air-fried to golden perfection and tossed in a punchy tomato BBQ glaze, they’re everything you want in a summer bite—messy, bold, and totally moreish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack Green Isle Mini Corn on the Cob
  • 3 tbsp tomato relish
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp BBQ seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander, chopped (for garnish)

Method:  

  1. Bring a pot of water to the boil. Add the corn and simmer for 8 minutes until tender.
  2. In a saucepan, whisk together the tomato relish, vinegar, mustard, brown sugar, hot sauce, BBQ seasoning, and salt. Heat gently until warm and combined.
  3. Carefully cut each corn cob into quarters lengthways to create “ribs”.
  4. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the corn ribs.
  5. Air fry at 200°C for 6 minutes, or until caramelised and slightly charred.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot—ideal for BBQs, parties, or a fun side dish.
