Garden Pea and goats cheese clafoutis

Claire Marie (@clairemariecuisine) has created a savoury version of the classic French dessert. This easy, cheesy recipe is perfect for lunchboxes, dinner with salad or even a weekend brunch. Another clever way to help you get your 5 a day!


6 eggs

60 g wholemeal flour

60g plain flour

600ml milk

200g frozen Garden Peas

1 goat cheese (130g)

1 tsp mint, chopped

Salt & pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the eggs with the flour.
  3. Gradually add the milk and stir well.
  4. Add the Green Isle Garden Peas and chopped mint. Then add the goat cheese crumbled up.
  5. Stir very gently then pour into a buttered mould (or silicone one). Bake at 180 C for 50 minutes. Enjoy warm or cold with some salad.
