Halloween Chunky Chip butty
The chip butty is traditionally a sandwich filled with some tasty chips. Condiments optional although we recommend a decent dollop of your favourite mayo and ketchup. Enjoy our Chunky Oven Fries in this Halloween special, perfect when having friends or family around. Ingredients
500 grams Green Isle Chunky Chips
4 brioche buns
4 slices cheese
butter
4 black Olives, halved
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200 C / 180 C fan. Cook Green Isle Chunky Chips for 20 - 25 minutes until cooked through and golden.
- Slice a jagged edge into one side of the cheese slices with a sharp knife to resemble razor sharp teeth.
- Toast the brioche buns and lightly butter then spread the bottom of each bun with a little ketchup, spilling it over the side of the bun. Too with some of the cooked chunky chips and lay a cheese slice over the top - wherever the jagged edge falls is your front. Attach two halved olives to the lid of the brioche and fill each hole with mayonnaise then place the lids onto each sandwich. Enjoy your spooky chip butty!
