Luxury Stir Fry Rice Bowl

Our Luxury Stir Fry Mix is the perfect weeknight meal solution with a delicious medley of carrot strips, onion and mushroom slices, sweetcorn, red & green pepper strips and bean sprouts, it’s ready in 5-7 minutes. This recipe stir fries with garlic, ginger and a little sesame oil, served with soy-pickled cucumbers, sticky rice and a sunny side up egg on top. By using our stir fry mix you not only save prep time but also prevent food waste as you only use what you need, when you need it


½ cucumber, sliced into 1 cm rounds

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon honey 

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

1 cm piece of fresh ginger, finely chopped

300 grams Green Isle Frozen Luxury Stir Fry

1 teaspoon sesame oil

To serve

150 grams sticky rice, cooked

2 eggs, fried

1 spring onion, sliced

Handful of coriander leaves

Soy sauce


  1. For the soy-pickled cucumbers mix together the soy, vinegar, water and honey in a bowl and add the cucumbers. Set aside until ready to use.
  2. Heat a wok until very hot. Add the vegetable oil and when hot add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minutes. Add the Green Isle Luxury Stir Fry Mix. Stir-fry for 3-4 mins until softened and then stir through the sesame oil.
  3. Serve the stir-fried vegetables with the rice, soy pickled cucumbers and a fried egg. Garnish with the spring onions and coriander if using.
