Salt & Chilli Corn on the Cob
Try this Chinese style twist with our Mini Corn on the Cobs, this salt and chilli recipe adds an extra kick. Perfect served as a side dish or snack.

Ingredients
1 x bag Green Isle Corn on the Cob
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil / or any other neutral oil
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 long red chilli, thinly sliced
3 spring onions, sliced
1 bunch fresh coriander, leaves only
Method:
- Place the required amount of Green Isle Mini Corn Cobs into boiling water. Cover, bring back to the boil and simmer for 6-7 minutes. Alternatively, you can also steam the corn if you prefer.
- Add sesame oil to wok and toss corn until golden, remove from wok
- Add garlic, red chilli, spring onion, salt, pepper and 5 spice and toss for 30 seconds, add corn back in and toss to coat then throw in coriander and serve.
