Let’s Cook Asian Stir Fry

Family friendly chicken, vegetables and noodle traybake

Traybakes are perfect for midweek family meals, quick to make and save additional time using our Asian Style Stir Fry Mix as all the prepping, washing and chopping is done. This family friendly chicken, vegetables and egg noodle traybake will serve a family of four, you can also pop it in a lunchbox and enjoy at work the following day


150 ml hot water

30 grams honey

75 ml dark soy sauce

75 ml light soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 inch piece of fresh ginger, finely grated

4 garlic cloves, crushed

1 teaspoon chilli flakes

6 chicken thighs, boneless, skin removed

1 bag Green Isle Asian Style Stir-Fried Vegetables

250 grams egg noodles

To serve:
Coriander leaves


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / 180 C fan.
  2. To make the sauce, mix the hot water and honey in a large roasting dish, stirring to allow the honey to to melt into the water. Add the soy sauces, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and chilli flakes and mix well.
  3. Add the chicken and turn to cover and coat the chicken in the sauce then place into the oven to roast for about 25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. Add the bag of Green Isle Asian Style Stir-Fried Vegetables to the tray and mix everything together then roast for a further 10 minutes.
  5. Cook the egg noodles according to the packet instructions and when they are done, toss the noodles through the saucy chicken and vegetables in the tray.
  6. Garnish with the coriander to serve.
