Hash Brown Bites ‘Nachos’

Our NEW Hash Brown Bites are not just for breakfast, enjoy this tasty nacho recipe, perfect for sharing with friends.


1 x pack Green Isle Hash Brown Bites

2 x avocadoes

2 spring onions

Juice of 1 lime

Bunch coriander

1 small garlic clove

1 small red onion, finely sliced

Juice ½ a lemon

100g cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

100 grams Green Isle Frozen sweetcorn

Pinch cumin powder

Pinch chipotle chilli powder

Pinch dried oregano

100 grams Sour cream

Juice of 1 lime

Handful coriander

2 pickled jalapeño peppers

Sliced green chilli, to serve, optional


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / 180 C fan. Place the hash brown bites on a tray and cook for 20 - 25 minutes until golden.
  2. Whilst the hash brown bites cook, place the avocados, spring onions, lime juice, coriander and garlic into the bowl of a food processor and blitz until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper and set aside. Place the sliced red onions into a bowl along with the lemon juice and a pinch of salt and stir to combine. Set aside.
  3. Place a frying pan over a medium heat and add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add the sweetcorn along with a pinch of cumin, chipotle and oregano. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. In the bowl of a small food processor blitz the sour cream, lime juice and zest, coriander and jalapeno together until smooth.
  5. Serve the hash browns piled with the guacamole, pickled red onions, tomatoes and sweet corn and finally drizzle over the jalapeño-lime crema to serve.
