French Fries and Fish with Minty Garden Peas

Our Green Isle Extra Crispy French Fries are made from carefully selected potatoes and cooked in sunflower oil for a golden crunch that’s perfect straight from the air fryer—ideal for busy weeknights, family dinners, or even a cheeky snack. On the side, we’ve given Green Isle Garden Peas a fresh twist by blending them with mint and lemon for a vibrant, naturally sweet mushy pea mash. Picked at their peak and frozen to lock in taste and nutrients, these peas are a fibre-rich, no-waste way to get 1 of your 5 a day.
Paired with Donegal Catch Breaded Cod and a dollop of garlic mayo, this is an easy, wholesome dinner you’ll come back to again and again.

300g Green Isle Extra Crispy French Fries
Donegal Catch 2 Battered Cod Atlantic Fillets
1 tsp salt Garlic Mayonnaise or any of your favourite dips
Slice of lemon
For the minted mushy peas:
- 200g Green Isle Garden Peas
- Handful of chopped mint
- Drizzle of olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
Method:
- *Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Cook the Breaded Cod for 15-20 minutes, flipping half way through. *See manufacturer’s guidelines for best results. This product contains raw fish and must be cooked thoroughly.
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C. Place 200g of chips in the basket. Cook for 8 minutes or until crisp and golden, shake occasionally to ensure an even cook.
- Thaw your peas in boiling water for 5 minutes and drain. In a bowl, add in the thawed peas, mint, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Mush together with a hand blender or fork
- Serve with garlic mayonnaise or any of your favourite dips and a slice of lemon. Enjoy!
