Halloween Garden Pea guacamole with tortilla chips

Enjoy this healthy Garden Pea guacamole dip with some tortilla chips this Halloween for a tasty and creative way to help you reach your 5 a day. Ready in just 15 minutes, this is perfect for kids and adults of all ages to enjoy!


150 grams Green Isle Garden Peas

2 avocadoes, peeled and destoned

1 x green chilli

Handful coriander

2 Spring onions

Juice of 1 Lime

50 grams Greek Yoghurt

Tortilla chips, to serve

Small, carved Halloween pumpkin


  1. Place the Green Isle peas into a saucepan of boiling water and cook for 4 minutes. Drain and place into cold water immediately to cool down then drain again.
  2. To make the guacamole place the avocadoes, green chilli, coriander, spring onions, lime juice and yoghurt into a food processor and blitz until smooth. Place the cooled peas into the blender and pulse to mix through the guacamole - you want it to retain some texture so don’t blend too much.
  3. Place your small carved pumpkin on a serving fish or board and using the guacamole - spread it out on the serving dish to resemble a vomiting pumpkin. Serve the tortillas around the pumpkin to dip into the guacamole.
