Let’s Cook Asian Stir Fry

Shakshuka with Green Isle Asian Stir Fry

Why not make breakfast extra special with this easy Shakshuka recipe over the weekend by Claire Marie (@clairemariecuisine) ? Ready in less than 30 minutes and delicious served with warm pitta bread and some Crème fraiche. Using our Asian Style Stir Fry makes this quick and easy whilst helping you get more of your 5 a day!


300g Green isle Asian Style Stir Fry (half a bag)
3 large eggs
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 tsp harissa
2 tsp tomato paste
1 red chilli, chopped
3 spring onions
Handful fresh coriander
1 tbsp olive oil
Pita breads to serve
Crème fraiche (optional)


  1. Start by heating up the olive oil in a skillet pan. Add in the Green Isle Asian style stir fry vegetables. Then add the red chilli and stir.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes. Add a couple of tablespoon of water. Mix in the harissa and tomato pastes. Season.
  3. Once the texture thickens, create three little holes with the back of a spoon and crack in one egg it each. Gently swirl the egg whites around.
  4. Cook for another couple of minutes. The yolks should be runny and the whites cooked through.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander and spring onions.
  6. Add a dollop of crème fraiche as you serve with warm pita bread to dip in. Enjoy !
